Sure-fingered, youthful, raw and passionate, Ryan Schmidtt, Boston-based singer/songwriter pays appropriate homage to The Black Keys,’ ‘Lonely Boy’ in this Big Old Big One session. Filmed at the Arnold Arboretum in the brisk winter of 2012’s February, by Ro Rowan and Daniel DP Perry, it offers a direct tribute to the band’s first single off of their release, ‘El Camino‘ but employs acoustic guitar, 2 voices, and the percussion accompaniment of Big Old Big One’s, Eran Shaysh.
