Darlingside
Darlingside’s uniquely familiar sound is a blend of modern pop and old school folk. Finely crafted melodies and lyrics, as well as impressive musicianship and character intensify each of their songs. Their crisp harmonies blend so well, that it’s hard to believe that there are five voices at times, and not just one. This Big Old Big One session took place along the banks of the Mystic River in Medford, MA. (A small audience of neighbors even assembled to listen until the mosquitos became unbearable to summer flesh) Here, Darlingside is performing a stripped down version of their song, “The Company We Keep,” and they absolutely perfect each of the songs intricacies from start to finish! These guys are a well-oiled and hard-working touring machine who are beginning to build a highly reputable name around this neck of the woods.
